Matthew C. Scalise is the Broker-In-Charge of Scalise Realty. Matt is a REALTOR® with the Coastal Carolinas Association of REALTORS®, South Carolina Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®. He has earned the G.R.I. (Graduate REALTOR® Institute) and the R.R.S.(Worldwide Recreation and Resort Sales Council) designation, and has been a licensed real estate agent for 17 years. Matt graduated from The Citadel with a B.S. in Business Administration. Upon graduation he worked in the field of banking. He served as a Consumer Loan Officer as well as a Commercial Credit Analyst for Bank of America, formerly Nations Bank.
Matt founded Scalise Realty in 1994 and has devoted himself to customer service and developing his expertise as a resort real estate specialist. In addition to general brokerage sales, Matt is actively involved in the site selection, design, and market strategy of Scalise Development. Sam Scalise, Matt's father, is the president and founder of Scalise Development, which has built nearly 400 beach homes in the area.
